Child and Guardian Privacy Notice
How Guardian-managed Athlete profiles and related child data are handled in the current platform.
This document is designed to support applicable privacy obligations. Rights may vary by jurisdiction, and final legal counsel review is required before production reliance.
Guardian-managed profiles
A Guardian can create and manage more than one dependent Athlete profile. The child profile is private by default and is connected to the Guardian through an authorized relationship record.
Guardian authority is currently asserted through the account workflow. Evidence, age-verification and legal-consent enforcement require further legal and operational review.
Child data and use
Child data may include identity, date of birth, gender, sport, profile information, Club participation, Event registrations, reservations, Results, Certificates and Guardian-provided emergency or medical details.
The data is used to manage the child’s sports profile and the specific services selected by the Guardian.
Visibility, Media and Community
Dependent profiles remain private in the current creation and edit flows. A child’s private profile, restricted Media and non-public Community content must not appear in public discovery.
Guardians should not publish a child’s image or identifying information unless they have authority and have considered safety and privacy risks.
Registrations and safety data
A Guardian can manage child registrations, reservations, Results and Certificates. Event questions can collect emergency or medical details when relevant to safety and Organizer operations.
Authorized Event personnel may need restricted access for the Event purpose. Such information is not intended for public display.
Correction, deletion and age transition
Guardians can edit supported child profile fields and can request access, correction or deletion review through Privacy & Data Requests.
The transition when a child reaches the applicable age is not yet automated. Applicable age, fresh consent and control-transfer requirements must be confirmed by legal counsel and implemented before relying on an automated transition.
Minimization and safety
Only provide information needed for the child’s profile, registration or safety. PlayrSync does not currently state that it performs behavioral advertising or automated behavioral monitoring of children.
Report child-safety or privacy concerns promptly through the Grievance Contact.
